Aeneas (Me!): In charge of Creating the printed "Swag", Including the final catalog, postcards, assets for stickers to be handed out at the show, and vinyl cut outs to decorate the space where the design show was held. As a commuting student I successfully managed my roles in the creation and execution of this show while balancing a full course load + work outside of school. Unofficial roles included Mr. moral booster, overnight worker, the guns (Muscle).
Jason Ausiello: In charge of filming and editing the Design Show trailer, manually laying out and designing social posts as well as posting media posts according to our scheduled output.
Apryl Murray: In charge of all motion design assets of our social posts and web assets, as well as coordinating the printing and proofing of our vinyl assets for wall decals.
Sheyla Torres: In charge of creating the website for the design show, and being the overall project manager. Printing way finding signage for the show, and printing vinyl assets for wall decals
As a collective we helped each other in every role, whenever we could filling in when one of us had other obligations to attend to. We optimized our schedules and sacrificed sleep (and sometimes sanity) to make the Design Show everything it could be.
Trailer
Check out the trailer leading up to the Design Show. For this trailer I had a brief cameo in the beginning and assisted our main filmmaker/editor Jason with various shots for the video.
Catalog
The publication of this booklet was my main role as part of the design show team. The booklet is 5.5in.x8.5in. half the size in comparison to years prior. The team & I wanted to adjust the catalog scale, when deciding the size of book we considered the feel of the booklet in hand and wanted to have a more solid and solid feel for the catalog, as opposed to an 8.5x11in booklet, which felt flimsy and not as professional. Consisting of 80 pages, showing mockups and stills of 37 total students work. the ripped and crinkled paper looks were manually done and carefully placed by hand and individually scanned to create the final look.
Stickers for attendees to collect at our show, main promotional poster, large scale vinyl decals & way finding signage created for the show.
